A manufacturing company in Michigan that produces glass and other building materials for the commercial, residential, and automotive industries was facing ongoing issues with its glass dust collection system. The facility operated 10 cartridge dust collectors equipped with rotary valves to manage a sand and limestone mixture. Over time, the abrasive glass dust repeatedly clogged both the cartridge collectors and the rotary valves, leading to frequent downtime, increased maintenance, and costly part replacements.

After reviewing the system specifications, Dan Navicky of Aerodyne Environmental recommended replacing the existing rotary valves with the Vacu-Valve Trickle Valve System.
