Coffee Roasting Dust Collectors
Coffee roasting is required to prepare coffee beans for the brewing process. The roasting process uses heat to chemically and physical alter the coffee bean. During the roasting process, particulates, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), organic acids, and combustion products (CO2, CO, etc.) are released. Often times, cyclones are used to remove the particulate matter before the VOCs, acids, etc. are treated in a thermal oxidizer or other technology.
Aerodyne’s GPC cyclone is ideal for coffee roasting. Its compact size allows it to be installed near the coffee roaster and doesn’t require a lot of room. The GPC’s high removal efficiency means that only the very finest particulate will make it to your final treatment equipment.
