Dust Hound Cyclone
The Aerodyne Dust Hound cyclone is a GPC cyclone that we produce in large quantities. It is NOT customable like our GPC cyclones, which are custom fabricated for each individual application. The Dust Hound is available in limited sizes. Smaller sizes are almost always in stock for quick delivery.
The Dust Hound cyclone is used by customers in the following applications and industries:
- Coffee grinding/roasting
- Woodworking
- Baghouse/Cartridge collector pre-filters
- Prototype testing

- DH-12 <600 CFM
- DH-24 <2500 CFM
- DH-30 <4000 CFM
- DH-48 <11,000 CFM
All Dust Hounds are constructed of carbon steel with Class Ia welding and finishing. They are painted blue (200F max).
Class Ia welding – Continuous 75% penetration (approximate) shall be achieved by MIG welding on the external side only using filler. The weld will not have inclusions, cracks, or holes. Crevices, slag, spatter, and internal projections are minimal, but internal surfaces may have overspray.
